Closed beta?

erm the close beta now does that mean that there are couple of players playing the perfect world now? or there are none as perfect world MS is currenlty not ready yet?
if there are players playing the close beta now, when the server goes live does thier char get wiped?

At the moment, the closed beta isn't live yet.

It should run in some time, for appromatively 10 days. There will be a character wipe at the end.

Translation from Chinese into English is running. Parallel to it runs the translation from English to German and Spain. Everything fine here so far.

Our technician and support staff is flying next week to China for a last training. That has nothing to do for the installation but is necessary for future things so we can act fast in an emergency case.

The game will be just in English, German and Spanish at the beginning but the plan is to run the webpage in a lot of more languages to give players from different countries a better understanding of the game.

We plan to run the closed beta not too long... maximum 10 days. It is mainly just to test the new hardware and to find out if everything runs smoothly. During this time we will run an event. But it is an event that closed beta tester and non closed beta tester can enjoy together.

Then we are starting directly with the Open Beta and with our first in game event that everybody can enjoy and with some of our nice real life prizes that you can win this year.

Don't be worry if you don't hear something from time to time from us. It just means we are working to get the game up asap. Though we enjoy it to talk with you all on the forum we can't wait to meet you all in game, too.

I'm pretty sure I got a beta key! ^_^

Cos' like when I looked at the amount of registered members, it was at like... 100 or something.

Which was pretty much at sties creation, (I don't know.) but hooray for beta keys!! ;O

owh..that means..when the closed beta ends there will be a character wiping..then everyone have to play on new char on the live version..

Yup. That's about it.

Don't worry, the closed beta will only be about 10 days or so, so you wont be missing your character.

yep, that's the significance of character wipe ^^

However, as Kru said, the CB should only last for 10 days, so, if you won't have your char wiped, you could wait few days for the end of it. Besides, in 10 days, you cannot be *that* high.
